The best tip to hang a picture

Hanging up a painting or picture is always a hassle. Before you know it, the frame hangs at an angle and you need to drill a lot of unnecessary holes. As far as we’re concerned, that’s a thing of the past. We have the tip to always hang your painting or frame straight.

Supplies

  • Photo frame or painting
  • Tape (or adhesive tape)
  • Marker
  • A spirit level
  • Electric drill

Step 1

First, grab the picture frame you want to hang. Put the list on its side, so you have the suspension points in your sights.

Step 2

Roll out a piece of tape and align it with the suspension points. Make sure both suspension points are under the tape and then cut off the strip of tape.

Step 3

Leave the strip of tape on the suspension points. Then use a marker to place two dots on the location of the suspension points.

Step 4

Where do you want to hang the picture frame or the painting? Hang the strip of tape on the wall there. You can use a spirit level to check if the tape is hanging straight.

Step 5

Then get the drill. Make sure the tape is stuck properly. Is the tape stuck properly? Then you can drill where you put a dot.

That was it! Time to hang that picture frame or the painting and admire the result. Because that result may be there anyway. In any case, the frame hangs in a straight line. 🙂
