The advantages of a plant stand

A flowerpot, great fun! Although it can always be more fun and convenient. That’s why we would like to introduce you to our favourite: the plant stand.

Just a bit different from the well-known flowerpot: the plant stand. We were introduced to the plant hanger years ago, but the plant stand is also an integral part of the interior.

You don’t know the plant stand yet? Then we have good news! Compared to the flowerpot, a plant stand has many advantages.

Light weight

The biggest advantage of a plant stand? They are usually made of light material. Think of processed metal, iron or brass. This makes the plant stand not only light, but also easy to cast into different shapes.

The light weight of a plant stand makes it easy to transport and easy to move. The material of the plant stand also ensures that it can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Are you putting a plant stand outside? Then do this from spring until just after summer. If too much rain falls in and on the plant stand it can cause rust. And that would be a shame of course!

Practical and simple

Besides the fact that a plant stand is lightweight, it often consists of two parts:

  1. The stand
  2. The planter

The two parts are perhaps the most practical on a plant stand. You can easily lift the planter out of the stand, making an outing to the bathroom or shower quick and easy.

This way you no longer have to lug plants in heavy flower pots into the shower. Just take that planter out, and shower with it!

Did you know that showering plants once in a while can prevent pests and diseases? Dust is easily washed away by the jets of the shower head. The same goes for aphids or spider mites.

In addition, the two parts can also be used separately from each other. Although you may not use the stand separately, this is useful for the planter!

Saving space and money

A plant stand is higher than an ordinary flowerpot. Placing plants in a plant stand leaves space on the floor and between the stands. This way you can place twice as many plants in one place!

It is also true that a plant stand often has room for more than one plant. For example, you only need one plant stand instead of several flower pots. Not only space saving, but also money saving!

Well-shaped

In addition to the fact that the material of the plant stand is easy to shape, the shape of a plant stand is also often special. Usually angular instead of the round shape of a flower pot.

Although we are used to flower pots being round, this is not the most practical form. Round flower pots take up a lot more space than a square or rectangular flowerpot. And that is exactly the shape a plant stand often has!

In a nutshell? A plant stand is light, suitable for outdoors, practical, space and time saving. Enough advantages! Oh well, plant stands are also design friendly. Suitable for any interior or garden.
