Just add a plant!
Our preference is for one big eye-catcher. Think of the Ficus Lyrata or a beautiful Strelitzia. If you don’t have that space, you can brighten up the shelves in the kitchen with smaller houseplants.
Go for new handles
In a kitchen, nothing is as eye-catching as kitchen cabinets. Do you have little or no budget? A few new handles are a valuable addition to your interior. Simple, but effective.
Exuberant lamps
Do you happen to have a simple ceiling lamp above the dining table or in the kitchen? Those are of course culprits when it comes to atmosphere. Go for a lamp that you would also hang in the living room. The result is amazing!
