Insulation material for an eco-friendly home

By Danique
in Home & Interior

We know insulation material in many types and also has many uses. Consider, for example: Rockwool, Knauf or Styrodur.

The great advantage of insulating your home is that you ensure that less heat is lost. No more cold feet because the floor is so ice-cold. With the right insulation material, your house immediately becomes more eco-friendly. Nowadays, it is so easy to do something for the environment, why miss out on that opportunity? Especially if you are reaping the benefits.

Why is the insulation material Styrodur so popular?

When we talk about insulation material, Styrodur really jumps. This is mainly due to the great versatility. Styrodur is widely used, and can be found almost everywhere.

From houses and terraces where you can enjoy a drink, to the average stable. Styrodur insulation material can be used in all kinds of rooms.

Styrodur is so popular because it is water-repellent and not affected by frost. The material also ensures that fire is less likely to spread.

Insulate by yourself

Insulating a house or swimming pool is quite a job. Then you prefer to work with the best material for a reasonable price. Can you picture it completely? Relaxing in a lazy garden chair, having a drink in your hand and wondering whether you will take a dip in the cool water of your self-built swimming pool now or soon?

Although cool, you can say cold. A swimming pool in the Dutch backyard is actually not possible without insulation, this ensures that the pool heating can do its job optimally. And you can be sure that the water is at a reasonable temperature. Although the occasional cold swimming is also good for that fat burning. Oh well, every disadvantage also has its advantage.

Call in help or complete outsourcing

It is entirely up to you whether you call in help with the insulation of your house. Some people like to work together, because then you can divide the tasks fairly and others like to stay in control. Whatever your plan, good insulation can save a lot of money in the long run.
