How to: paint stripes on curtains

By Danique
in Home & Interior

Supplies

  • Curtain
  • Electric iron
  • Paint
  • Paint brush
  • Tape
  • Ruler or tape measure

Step 1

First consider how many stripes are needed on the curtain. If you are still thinking about it, you can also immediately think about the width of the stripes. Just like the direction of the stripes.

Step 2

Then explain the curtain completely. Carefully put the iron over it so that there are no unnecessary wrinkles in the curtain.

Step 3

As soon as the curtain is completely wrinkle-free, you can apply the tape.

Step 4

Once you’ve attached all the tape, you can start working with the paint. Just like always, it is important to shake the paint pot well first, and then keep it upside down for at least 10 minutes.

Step 5

Paint the stripes and let the first coat dry thoroughly.

Step 6

When the first layer of paint is dry you can apply the second layer. Before the paint is completely dry you can carefully remove the tape.
