Supplies
- MDF board (as large as possible)
- Magnetic paint
- Paint brush
- Stirring stick
- Suspension system
Step 1
Of course you start with an MDF board. The size of the inspiration board depends on the MDF board. The bigger, the better.
Step 2
Then shake the magnetic paint well. To be sure, put the paint pot upside down for about 10 minutes. Then you can be sure that the pigment has not remained at the bottom of the paint pot.
Step 3
Just to be on the safe side, go with a stirring stick. In the paint pot, of course. 😉
Step 4
Then apply the magnetic paint to the MDF board. Let the first layer of paint dry for at least 2 hours.
Step 4
As soon as the paint is dry you can apply the second layer. Despite the fact that magnetic paint is quite opaque, we still recommend this second layer. With the second layer you know (almost completely) for sure that the magnetic layer also works.
Step 5
Basically, the inspiration board is already ready! The only thing left to do is to hang the plate. We used simple screws and a cordless drill to hang the inspiration board.
The material of the wall on which the inspiration board is hung is important for the type of suspension system.
