Supplies
- Groutable vinyl tiles
- Spacers (3 mm)
- Vinyl grout
- Spray bag or turnip greens
- Sponge
Step 1
Start by loosening the back of the tile. Attention! Do not remove the entire protective layer immediately. You only do this once the entire tile is in place.
Step 2
Put the tile on its new spot.
Step 3
As soon as the last edge is in place, you can remove the entire protective layer.
Step 4
Use spacers of about 3 mm, between each new vinyl tile you lay.
Step 5
In order to deliver the floor neatly, we are also going to grout it.
You can apply the joints in two ways. With a turnip trowel or with a piping bag. That’s up to you.
Step 6
Apply the grout to the ground with a turnip rake or piping bag.
Step 7
Then go over the floor with a sponge. Wipe away the haze around the tiles and clean the tiles yourself. Pay attention! Use a dry sponge when you go over the joints. You can use a damp sponge to clean the tiles.
Stap 8
After 24 hours the grouts are dry and you can start using the vinyl floor. Enjoy!
