Do you regularly throw dinner parties and get-togethers, or are you just looking for a beautiful table decoration for the holidays? Then flowers are the perfect choice. A bouquet of flowers brings a delicious scent and some cheerful colour combinations with it. What more could you wish for? With a bouquet of flowers you can easily create a warm and cosy atmosphere, making your guests immediately feel at home.

Flowers as table decoration

If you have little time, flower delivery is an ideal solution to quickly brighten up your table setting. Within minutes you have a fresh bouquet of flowers that is perfectly assembled. This way you can always enjoy a beautiful table decoration without having to put in much effort. Whether you have flowers delivered or you assemble your own bouquet, the following 10 flower species are the perfect choice for a bouquet of flowers as a table decoration.

1. Amaryllis

When you are searching for a bouquet for the holidays, the Amaryllis is always a good choice. With its beautiful large flowers that rise above the long stems, you create a real eye catcher. The flowers of the Amaryllis are available in different colours, although the red Amaryllis flowers are highly recommended for a festive bouquet. Especially in December, the Amaryllis is the perfect Christmas flower!

2. Eucalyptus

The Eucalyptus may not be the first type of flower that comes to mind when thinking of flowers. However, you are likely to encounter some Eucalyptus stems in your bouquet if you have flowers delivered. Even if you arrange your own flowers, the Eucalyptus is the ideal addition for bouquets. A major advantage of the Eucalyptus is its fragrance, the delicious smell of the leaves spreads throughout the room.

Tip! If your bouquet has withered, you can dry the Eucalyptus stems and use them in a dried bouquet.

3. Tulips

Tulips are the perfect choice for a dinner party or Easter brunch bouquet. But did you know that you can also use them in winter arrangements? Tulips add a pop of colour and are unexpected in the colder months, since they are typically associated with spring. However, tulips are actually available year-round, so you can always incorporate them into your floral displays.

4. Gerbera daisy

A flower that should not be missing from your festive bouquet is a gerbera daisy. If you ask a child to draw a flower, it will probably look like a gerbera daisy. These flowers evoke happy feelings when you look at them. The gerbera daisy is a classic flower that is available in almost any colour. From white to purple, and every colour in between.

5. Peonies

Roses in bouquets are always a good choice! Want to make the bouquet just that little bit more special? Choose peonies! Peonies are mainly available in various shades of pink, from peach to baby pink. Because they are available in different colours, peonies can always be easily combined with other flower species.

Are you arranging a bouquet for the first time? It is advisable to cut the different flowers at different lengths. This way you create an eye-catching bouquet with depth.
