DIY: Coffee Sack Ottoman

in Home interior design

Supplies

  • Pouffe
  • Jute sack
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Nails
  • Hammer

Step 1

First, cut the jute sack to size. It is best to put the sack over the footstool to see how much fabric you need.

Step 2

Put the cut part on the footstool. Make sure that the entire pouffe is covered with the jute sack.

Step 3

Then get started with the stapler. Keep the fabric tight all around and the pouffe and not then the seams of the pocket on the pouffe.

It is important to shoot a staple every 3 to 5 centimetres. This way you can be sure that the sack stays tightly over the poof.

Step 4

As an extra we like to polish up the ottoman with nails. Attach a nail to each corner. With the hammer you can fix the nail.

After the corners you can continue with the rest of the pouffe. Just like the staples, you can attach the nails every 3 to 5 centimeters.

All nail nails attached? Then your pouffe is ready!
