DIY: Bow and hair clip holder for the girls’ room

in Home interior design

Does your daughter wear a lot of bows or clips in her hair? With a whole collection, it can be difficult to find the right hair accessory every morning. We have found a solution!

Supplies

  • Hair accessories
  • Photo frame
  • Wrapping or cover paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Ribbon
  • Stapler

Step 1

Start with the picture frame. First take out the back of the picture frame and then the glassware.

Step 2

Then grab the wrapping paper or cover paper. The back of the picture frame, which you normally don’t see, you then tape it off with wrapping on cover paper. First cut the paper to size and then glue it to the back.

Step 3

Then lay pieces of ribbon in width on the just decorated backside. Satisfied? Then cut the pieces of ribbon to size. Make sure there is enough space left to staple the ends to the back.

Step 4

After cutting you can attach the pieces of ribbon with the stapler. The staples will of course be on the back.

Step 5

When all the ribbons are properly attached you can attach the list back to the creation you just made.

Step 6

To actually finish the hair accessories hanger, you only need hair accessories. Hang the accessories nicely spread over the different ribbons.

Tip: If you don’t have enough hair accessories for the hanger, you can also make some bows for decoration and attach them to the ribbons.
