Choose the right colours for your garden

In order for a garden to fit your own personality, it is best to use a colour palette. But which colour palette suits you? With colour you can easily express feelings and emotions. The choice to wear certain colours of clothing can say a lot about a person’s personality. Why don’t we use the same way to choose plants? Our garden should also fit our personality, shouldn’t it?

80% of people admit that their mood is positively influenced by colourful plants.

Out of an investigation of One Poll

Colour can really boost any environment. Planting fire-red plants and flowers creates an intense feeling. While a plant in a ‘cold’ colour can provide a calming feeling. Whichever colour you choose, it will affect you.

The romanticist

If you love life, and often see the good in everything, you have a romantic heart. You can enjoy the little things in life. Preferably you also like a finishing touch, which shows how loving you are.

Colours that suit you, the romanticist:

  • Fuchsia
  • Pink rose
  • Grey blue
  • Mint

  • Fuchsia
  • Magnolia
  • Hyacinth
  • Gladiolus

The warm heart

Family and friends often come to you when they feel bad. They know that you can always cheer them up. If you are as confident and cheerful as you are, this style is really for you!

Colours that suit you, the warm heart:

  • Apple green
  • Cobalt blue
  • Jade green
  • Daffodil yellow

  • Cross thistle
  • Anemone
  • Tagetes
  • Daisies

Mysterious book

Maybe you’re not the most confident, but you have other qualities. With friends and family you are known for your surprises. Since you’re a closed book, it’s hard to get any height out of you. But that’s not a problem at all!

  • Saffron crocus

Sultry dreamer

If you have an underlying and sultry side, then this style is really for you. You are ambitious and dare to be in the spotlight.

Colours that suit you, the sultry dreamer:

  • Nude
  • Red
  • Amber
  • Moss green

And? Do the colours of the plants match your style? Make sure you work with a colour palette. Without a colour palette, the garden can look rather messy. A structured garden also provides more peace and quiet. And that’s exactly what you’re looking for in a garden, isn’t it?
