A humidifier in the bedroom

By Danique
in Home & Interior

The right humidity in the bedroom is essential for good health and sleep. A humidifier can be a great help here. The device has many advantages. But what do you pay attention to when buying a humidifier?

Sound

A humidifier creates sound in most cases. Sound is usually not something you enjoy when you want to go to sleep. At least, if you ask us, we like it to be as quiet as possible. And that’s why it’s wise to test the humidifier in complete silence. Then you know what to expect when you go to sleep.

The degree of humidity

It is important that the humidifier does its job. At a low setting, the humidifier must improve humidity by at least 35% to 40%. In this way, even in standby mode, the air quality in the bedroom remains comfortable.

Type of humidifier

There are four types of humidifiers:

  • Ultrasonic humidifiers
  • Cold water vaporizers
  • Steam humidifiers (not suitable for children and/or pets)
  • Humidifiers with cleaning function

Before buying a humidifier, it is wise to seek advice on the humidifier suitable for your situation. Every situation is different, and not every humidifier is suitable for every situation. That’s why you should ask for information about the right humidifier for your bedroom.

Size

Especially in a small bedroom, a humidifier can be a restless object. Despite the good function of the device. Make sure that you choose a humidifier that fits in well with the space in the bedroom. If you become restless from seeing the humidifier, the actual function of the humidifier will be worth less. Choose a humidifier that you and your eyes will also be comfortable with.
