5 minute autumn centerpiece

Preparing the dining table for autumn can easily be done within 5 minutes. Writing this blog actually took even more time than making the autumn piece.

Supplies

  • Branch of at least 20 centimetres thickness
  • Cordless drill
  • Tea lights
  • Optional: autumn decoration

Go out into the woods. Look for a broad branch. At least wide enough to drill in, without the branch falling apart.

Have you found a suitable branch? Then get the drill.

Depending on the size of the branch, you can drill several holes with a cordless drill bit. To fit exactly one tealight, the hole must have a diameter of 4 centimetres.

There were 6 holes in our branch, each with 25 centimetres in between. This between length is actually always necessary. Even if the branch you use for this project is a bit smaller, it is important to keep that gap.

The various holes can then be filled with the tea lights. And your autumn creation is done! Be honest? Creating an autumn atmosphere has never been easier.

If you put the branch on the dining table we understand that other decoration might not fit. However, it is nice to drape some autumn accessories around the branch. Think of pine cones, mini pumpkins, dried leaves or small twigs with red berries.
