4 Elements for a magnificent mudroom

Most mudrooms are intended for storing everyday things. Think about shoes, coats, umbrellas and maybe even the washing machine and dryer. Although a mudroom is functional, it is also possible to turn it into a stylish place. How do we do that? You can read it below.

A coat, bag and shoe rack

One of the best purchases for the mudroom is a gigantic cupboard. A closet in which you can actually store all your coats and shoes.

The bags can also be hung by using a coat rack, or hooks to the wall. Make sure the bags on the wall steal the show. Your own museum pieces.

Provide enough storage

Since the mudroom is such a functional space, the right amount of storage space is ideal. Buy baskets for the scarves and gloves. And storage boxes for coats that are temporarily not needed.

If you also have the washing machine and dryer in the mudroom, you can also put enough detergent in the storage boxes.

Create seats

Since you put on a coat and shoes in the mudroom, seating is very practical. Think of a wooden bench under which you can easily put the baskets for scarves and gloves. In addition, such a wooden bench is also very stylish.

Washbasin happiness

If you have the space and the right pipes, a washbasin in the mudroom can be ideal. Handy to wash your hands after a muddy day in the playground. Or to rinse your rain boots.
