I'm at it again...  another project!  And this is a biggie.  I know, I know.... I haven't even waited 0.05 seconds before starting something new, but this project has been in the works for over a year and I'm thrilled that my thoughts + ideas are actually coming to fruition!  So the next big remodel... the hall/kids bathroom. This bathroom got a mini DIY revamp about 3 years ago, but it's been used & abused by two kiddos, so it was time to put my design expertise to work and create a space that would handle the everyday splashes & wear of two busy bees. Of course, I can't start … [Read more...]

Happy Hump Day, y'all! You may have noticed a lack of DIY creations around here lately.  To be honest, I have been knee deep in so many other projects that my personal projects have had to take a back burner.  From E-Design clients, to local clients, to getting the house ready for the BHG crew to come soon, I have been non-stop on the go.  Plus I was away last week on a little vacay, so getting back into the groove of things has been a bit rough. ANYWAY, enough of the chit-chat, I am psyched to share with you that I have decided to spice-up one of my bathrooms.  The powder room to be … [Read more...]

March 6, 2012

In one week, my master bathroom went from a place that I dreaded and turned into a heavenly, serene, and spa-like oasis.  The last 7 days have been a whirlwind of working around the clock, but it's all worth it!  Looking back, I can't believe I waited so long.  I walk into this space now and I feel a fresh of breathe air.  Take a look... Pin It Beautiful right?  But wait until you see the before, and you'll be sure to appreciate the after even more! Pin It I've been slightly secretive about the plan that I had for this space.  I didn't want to reveal too many details and ruin … [Read more...]

Sherwin Williams Paint Visualizer

I feel like I've been talking (and thinking) about this bathroom for decades, but in reality, it's really only been a few weeks.  Somehow it took longer to execute than anticipated but I can thankfully say....IT'S DONE! All things considered, this was (simply) a minor bathroom makeover.  Even though I dreamed of new white tile, a dark wood cabinet, and a fresh new sink, I'm very happy with the updates and the outcome.  My "overhaul dream" bathroom will come someday in the future! SO here it is ~ (sorry for the narrow picture, it's a bit difficult to take photos in such a small space) And … [Read more...]

Sherwin Williams Paint Visualizer

Have you ever been reluctant to paint a room because you simply CAN NOT CHOOSE A COLOR??  Fear no more.  Most paint companies, if not all, offer a feature on their website that allows you to upload and virtually see your room with other paint colors.  Virtual visualizers are a great way to see how your space would look BEFORE investing endless hours and lots of money. With the kids bathroom being the next space on my list to renovate, I thought virtually playing with some colors would help me hone in on what color to paint.  After checking out a few paint manufacturer sites, I found Sherwin … [Read more...]
