I’m finishing up a kitchen renovation for a local client (which looks amazing and I can’t wait to share pictures) and we’re at the point of choosing light fixtures. Most have already been selected and some already installed, but we wanted to find something extra special for the foyer light as you enter into the home.
The tricky part of the equation? The Ceiling Height!
An average home usually has an 8′-0″ ceiling height, but some have cathedral ceilings in the foyer so a grand and beautiful chandelier can be admired. Not this house. But that’s okay because with a little hunting I was able to find quite a few attractive pendant style lantern fixtures that would compliment the aesthetic of the design.
Check them some of my favorite lantern choices…
What’s your favorite? It’s so difficult to choose, right?!
I’ve been so busy with Summer and other DIY projects that I haven’t created any Creative Vision Boards recently, so I hope you enjoyed this montage of lighting beauty. If you’re looking to update lighting (or any part) of your home, I’d love to help! I’m a blogger, but an Interior Designer too and am always available for a new project, no matter where you live.
* Creative Vision Board Disclaimer: Some CVBs are created for specific clients and others are created by me to inspire you. Either way, specific resources are not provided because these are the types of creations that clients pay me for and if I gave the information away for free, no one would hire me. BUT if you’re interested in specific pieces seen on my Creative Vision Boards or want to create the exact look in your space, you can gladly pay a nominal fee for the resources. Nothing on my Creative Vision Boards are to-the-trade only and everything can be found on the internet. Also, if you have a question about a specific resource then my One-Question Consult would be perfect for you and/or if you’re looking for a new, custom created CVB, then you might want to take a look at my Jump Start Design option. If you have a question about anything, email me!
