Pumpkins are so beautiful on their own, au naturel-style, or paired with other natural elements, but it’s also fun when you “dress them up” and add some unique embellishments. Through my blogosphere crawl, I’ve seen some amazingly creative pumpkin decor and had to put a post together to share!
Be inspired and create one of your own!
Chevron, on a pumpkin? O, yes – these sure are stylish beauties! You never know what a little fabric and Mod Podge can do!
What’s on the outside of those pumpkins you ask? You’ll never guess… Keep on trying… Would you believe they are gold thumbtacks?! What a great idea – Shannon is always so creative!

Viv at The V Spot never seizes to amaze me. Awesome S & M Punk Rocker pumpkin – this is a must read post!
I love the idea of painting or cutting out house numbers on pumpkins that sit on a porch. An easy way to do this is to open a new Word document. Find a font you like and make it large enough to fit on your pumpkin face. With a pushpin, outline the piece of paper. Once done, remove the paper and cut out the numbers on the pumpkin. Add a candle or light so your numbers can glow, and you’re done!
Owl pumpkins – so cute!
How beautiful are these pumpkins!
Adding some simple black zig-zag ribbon makes these white pumpkins stand out!
Do you leave your pumpkins au naturel or do you “dress them up” with cute embellishments? For our pumpkins, I like doing a mix of both. On the Fall mantel this year, I painted two of the pumpkins white and outside, I added our house number to one of the larger pumpkins. The rest I left to show their true beauty.
