It’s here… It’s here… Autumn is here!
For some reason, this year has been difficult for me to say goodbye to Summer. I guess because the winter in NY was soooo long and the summer wasn’t overly hot, I felt like I wasn’t ready for it to end (I know many of you southerns feel the complete opposite – you are so ready to ba-bye to summer).
Anyway, I am starting to get into the Fall spirit and am so thankful to live in a part of the country (Upstate NY) that is known for amazing Fall foilage. The deep colors of reds, oranges, and yellows are just a delight to see and experience.

The creator of this adorable Fall Bucket List suggested putting it in a frame and then checking off the boxes with a dry-erase marker (on top of the glass) once you’ve completed the fun Fall “task”. I am printing this out today and putting it in our foyer!

Since I’ve lived in Canada, Fall is totally bittersweet. I LOVE the colors, smells and foods of Fall. But I know it will be short lived and winter will be lurking around the corner ready to envelop us with 5 months of cold and snow. I HATE the cold and snow! Really, you could just drive to visit the snow. You don’t have to live in it! lol And this time of year always has me missing home. You can check out my hometown in the Fall in this post. It’s beautiful!!
