DIY: Framed Chalkboard Medicine Cabinet

May 5, 2011

Medicine Cabinet turned framed chalkboard

When recently working on my kids  bathroom makeover on a budget, I questioned what to do with the mirrored medicine cabinet ~ Leave it?  Or take it out? The mirrored front medicine cabinet is positioned on the side wall, and since there is already a mirror over the sink, there really wasn't a need for it.  BUT, I didn't want to leave a huge hole in the wall AND I wasn't interested in taking the time to patch it up either.  What to do?? WELL, I decided to create a new framed chalkboard medicine cabinet! This was actually quite an easy project to tackle, but before we start, here … [Read more...]

DIY: Transforming the Exterior of Mi Casa

May 3, 2011

What a fabulous weekend I had....and not one minute of it was spent relaxing. But that's just me....sitting down on the couch and watching tv is boring (most of the time). Since the day we moved into our house (alittle over a year ago), I've had a laundry list of things on my to-do-list (which is in my head, not on paper -- bad idea because it never escapes me). ALOT of the interior work was done over the winter months, AND now we're onto the exterior. With being an Interior … [Read more...]
